Tacktile Gypsum Skimming Plaster

Step 1
Add 5 litres of water to a suitable mixing container.
Step 2

Slowly add 10kg Tacktile Gypsum Skimming Plaster while mixing.

Step 3
Mix thoroughly with a suitable mixer to a consistent creamy slurry.
Step 4
Apply to a clean and dust-free substrate with a trowel.

Tacktile Jointing Plaster

Step 1
Add 5 litres of water to a suitable mixing container.
Step 2

Slowly add 10kg Tacktile Jointing Plaster while mixing.

Step 3
Mix thoroughly with a suitable mixer to a consistent creamy slurry.
Step 4

Fill Joint with Jointing plaster caused by taper of board.

Step 5

Apply Jointing tape over filled Joint. 

Step 6

Apply a coat of Jointing Plaster over tape and allow to dry.

Step 6

Apply a second coat to overlap the first coat.

Step 7
Once dry, sand if needed then skim the board with Tacktile Skimming Plaster.

Notes:

  • Corner Joints two Coats are recommended while straight Joints 3 coats are recommended. 
  • Ensure any imperfections are sanded flat.
  • To prevent any colour differentiation when painting it is recommended to seal the joint and board with Tacktile Universal Sealer.
